How DankbarMoment GmbH Began

The need was clear. People were drowning in stress and negativity bias, yet the science of gratitude remained largely untapped.

We’re not psychologists telling you what you should feel. We’re practitioners who’ve seen firsthand how gratitude practice changes everything. Since launching DankbarMoment GmbH in 2021, we’ve worked with thousands of people who were skeptical at first but became believers once they experienced the shifts in their daily lives.

The foundation of our work is simple: gratitude isn’t about toxic positivity or ignoring real problems. It’s about training your brain to notice what’s working, what’s good, what deserves appreciation. And when you do that consistently, your entire relationship with life changes.

We started because we saw people struggling with anxiety, depression, and the weight of modern life. Psychology research showed the path forward. But nobody was making it accessible. Nobody was explaining it in a way that made sense. That’s where we come in.

DankbarMoment GmbH exists because we believe gratitude and positive psychology shouldn’t be luxury wellness add-ons. They’re fundamental tools for mental health and resilience that everyone deserves access to.

Right now we’re focused on expanding our reach across Germany. We’re training facilitators, developing new program formats, and making our content available in ways that fit different lifestyles — whether you prefer group workshops, one-on-one guidance, or self-directed learning.

We’re also partnering with schools, workplaces, and healthcare providers who recognize that building gratitude cultures creates healthier, more resilient communities. The research is clear. The practice works. Now we’re making it available at scale.

What won’t change: our commitment to authenticity. We’ll never promise you instant transformation. We’ll never pretend gratitude solves everything. We’ll always be honest about the work involved. But we’ll also be there to show you that the work is worth it.
